REX, GET WELL.
|
Upon opening my issue #90 of the ENGRAVER magazine it was with great sadness and concern that I read of the resignation of Rex Pedersen as President of our Guild due to his health.
Rex has been a great President, an active and go-to BoD officer for many years before that and a great friend to all members who needed his help and guidance.
I have been proud to call him MR. President or Mr. Rex or just plain friend Rex.
Rex has given so much to us all, now it is our turn to return to him some of the love and support he has so freely given.
Let us pray for his swift return to full health.

The same here for good will wishes to Rex. My first class at GRS was with Rex and he taught me loads of stuff. Hope you get things back in working order soon. I'll be praying for you.

Thanks to all!
I am doing much better now. I had a good wake up call and had to make some life choices but things are going OK.
I'll still be doing what I can for FEGA, just at a little slower pace!
Thanks again!!

Rex has done a great deal for the guild for many years and I am saddened to hear he is having health issues. I hope his health will improve quickly and that he is able to enjoy engraving and his other interests without the stress of managing the guild affairs.
Best wishes to you Rex, and thank you for all your hard work for the guild.

Bill M,
I bet you had a great time at GRS with Rex as your instructor.
He is a really fun guy but always takes care of business.
Bill G.
Great to see you on the forum again.
Like Rex, you have done a pile of work for the Guild.
Best regards to you and Mrs. G. You are both in our thoughts.

Rex Pedersen was my first choice for my attempt to learn to engraver at GRS. What better instructor for my first class than the president of FEGA and also the second class I planned to take Start to finish fire arm. Little did I know of the dedication Rex had for the art, the guild, students and friends. Rex has made my learning process a wonderful experience. I attended Reno this year and was blown away by the fellowship that both Rex and the guild conveyed to me. I am proud to be a student of Rex and look forward to more classes with him in the future. Rex, get well soon and thank you for being a part of a new chapter in my life as my mentor and friend. My prayers are for your health to improve and that you be blessed. See you in Reno 2012. |

Rex: I am so relieved to hear you are better. You are the most helpful and concerned person I have ever dealt with at FEGA. Don't ask how I sense this through emails, but for one thing you always and I mean always did each and every thing you said you would. You always had a plan B and never left me feeling unimportant or insignificant as just a regular member. My findings are based upon past experience through out life as a Police officer for 35 years and I can kind of recognize strong character in people in general.
Well Rex your persona travels far beyound a large percent of the rest of society. For give me for not saying in the past thank you for the great job you did for FEGA, and for me. |
