Tom Scarberry
|
A number of years ago I heard that Tom Scarberry had passed away. He was an amazing engraver and I am trying to find info. and pictures of his work. He did some work for me and also a friend while living in Fairbanks, Alaska. Any information would be so appreciated.
Thanks,

| Kris, Don Scarberry of Fairbanks was a FEGA member some years ago. He came to our annual show and meetings for a few years until he lost his wife and then only a few times after that. His work was very unique and interesting. As I remember it, he was a runner-up in our annual engraving contest a time or two. He was a very pleasant and nice fellow and we miss him at the show. I do not know where to find photos of his work but I will inquire around. |

| Kris, I did find that it was in 1994 that Don was a Award of Merit winner in out annual engraving contest. I have not run across any photos or other information however. Maybe someone else will chime in. Regards, Sam. |
