Hi folks,
Issue #78 of the ENGRAVER is at the Post Office now so look for your issue soon. Also enclosed is the "pre-order" form for the 2008 Seminar videos. You can order them online as well.
And.... Something new.. A renewal form is also enclosed in the magazine. If you renew with the form or online we will send you a color FEGA lapel pin! If you would like more, you can order them online as well.

Topic: Certified Proffesional Engraver, process  Number of Responses: 2

I looked at the C.P.E., but during the process I didn't see how anyone went about becoming. Does an individual just need to send in pictures, or an actual peice? Where is it sent to? Anyway if someone wouldn't mind letting me know I would really appreciate it. Thanks

Scott

Topic: Certified Professional Engraver  Number of Responses: 3

In looking to have some engraving done, I found this site and a number of engravers that use "Certified Professional Engraver" in their names. I'm curious as to who does the certification and what it entails. Does one have to present samples of ones work, or is certification a bit easier to attain?
Thanks in advance.

Topic: Diamond spray with water base versus alcohol base  Number of Responses: 0

Hi all, I'll want to buy a diamond in spray. I live in Spain. This is a problem because this product has an extra shipping charges, because is a hazardous material. I've find in www.crystalite.com, diamond spray with water base, not with alcohol base, I'll use with ceramic wheel. Please, could you tell me if someone check it? Does this spray use as similar as GRS' product? I need to do a job as soon as possible.
Thanks a lot.

Topic: 2007 Convention  Number of Responses: 2

Just a reminder -- some deadlines are coming up fast.

1) Nov 1st - deadline to get tables reserved at the discounted price. Your forms must be postmarked by this date.

2) Nov. 30th - deadline to reserve space. Tables, permits, etc. have to be ordered. After that space available is only if there are cancellations.

3) Nov. 30th - get your auction donation to Bruce Farman. There's still time to be included in the program.

4) Dec. 22nd - need to have your Silver Legacy hotel room reserved - with a deposit. Suggest you don't wait that long as several of the hotels in Reno are already sold out.

5) Jan. 10th - please have your reservations made for the banquet.

Call or email if you have any questions. Thanks, Jan

Topic: Donations for the 2007 show  Number of Responses: 0

Hi This is a reminder to everyone out there that the 2007 Exhibition is soon upon us. If you have planed on making adonation of an item to the fundraiser auctions and raffles but haven't done so now is the time to contact Bruce Farman. The sooner we get the items pledged the better and more accurate the auction catalog will be. Again we plan on putting thecatalog up before the show on our web site, maybe this year we will actually get it done Thaks Roger Sampson FEGA Fundraiser Co-Chairman
