John was first introduced to engraving in his native England in 1946. He immigrated to the United States in 1951 where he operated his commercial interior design business for many years. He retains election to the American Society of Interior Designers and is also a State licensed General Building Contractor. In 1980, John became involved with the N.R.A. Summer School Engraving program in Trinidad, Colorado. He has been teaching the Basic and Advanced Engraving classes at Trinidad and Lassen Colleges each summer since that time. He is a Life Member of the N.R.A. and a proud and active Certified Professional member of the Firearms Engravers Guild of America.
