| Please, somebody save me! I need to know how to remove bluing from only the scrolls in an engravings job on a handgun. I have heard about acid etching, pink erasers, etc., but what I need is detailed, step by step, use this tool this way, instructions. (I'm quite anal!)Thank you in advance for the lifeline |

Topic: Gun Blue? Number of Responses: 2
| Does the bluing have to be removed from a gun to engrave? or can you engrave it over the bluing. I understand it would be easier to have a clean gun to draw on. But if I can get a outline without removing it why not. |

Topic: Engraver H. C. Logan of Louisiana? Number of Responses: 2
| I just bought a pistol with beautiful engraving. I can't find any engravers mark, but there was a tag in the box that said: (engraved by H. C. Logan of Louisiana). Does anyone have any information on Mr. Logan? |

Topic: FEGA Photo request Number of Responses: 0
This coming January FEGA will be celebrating its 30th anniversary and I would like to put together a slide show of the "faces of FEGA" for this. We have a few photos in our archives but I would like to find more if possible. If you have any photos of people taken at the FEGA meetings in the last 30 years we would like to have them for our archives. They can range from way back in the beginning to just a couple years ago.
The more we get for the archives the better! We would prefer to have high resolution photos on a CD but if you don't have a way to scan them or have the time, please just send the photos and we can do it and return them if requested. Please mail them to me at the address listed on the inside cover of the ENGRAVER magazine. If you know the names of the people and date taken, please include this as well.
I would like to have a nice mix of photos for Reno that we can show at the booth during the show.
Look through those drawers and files and see what you have!
Thanks,
Rex |
