GRS Positioning Vise -Vs- GRS Low Profile Vise with Turntable Base |
Which of these ball vises are better for use with a microscope?.
GRS Positioning Vise looks like too big and i think that it is not easy to use it.
Siento si me explicado mal, soy espaƱol (spanish from spain).
Si alguien quiere contestarme en mi idioma seria un alivio.
Gracias.

It's personal preference. I like the turntable much better but I engrave larger items. The positioning vise is nice for smaller items like jewelry. I also like the ease of the turntable as well but that's my opinion. Both are good but and it's a matter of what you get used to.

I am a beginner. I have used both the positioning vise and the turntable. The turntable is much easier for me. I never move the microscope. You can move the ball vise to center the engraving and when you turn it the engraving stays centered.
