A couple of hours ago I got a really unexpected telephone call. A woman (whose name I missed) identified herself as calling on behalf of FEGA to see if I had weathered the hurricane in good shape. The people I know here in Montgomery experienced winds in the 50 knot range and heavy rain, but fortunately only a few shingles blown off the roofs. I realize our storm experience isn't really a subject to discuss on the forum, but I thought some of you would be interested that the FEGA cared enough to call.
