Rudolph Kornbluth (?)

Many (about 45)years ago, I spent many hours with a library book featuring the firearms engraving artistry of a man whose name I best now recall was Rudolph Kornbluth. Did web searches using all the variations of both names I could think of and found nothing.

As I recall, most of his work was done in the early 1900's, and I remember being totally awe-struck by the images of his work.

Has anybody heard of him, or have I mis-remembered his named?

Thanks in advance for any info. Cheers

I'm sure you sure referring to Kornbrath. He was prolific from 1910 until his death around 1945.
Hope this helps.

Thank you very much Rex. It's most probably Rudolph J. Kornbrath - at least I get some hits with a Google search. Thanx again. Cheers

Prudhommes' book, Gun Engraving Review, published in 1961, had 14 pages devoted to Kornbrath.
