I have recently gotten ahold of some tapes, done by a man named Robert E Macki, they say, School of Firearms Engraving, "Secrets of the Engraveur". The tapes seem to be mainley about H&C, and Hand Push work. Does anyone Know any thing about him, or his school???

I took a correspondence course from him back in the late '80's. Unfortunately, I needed more of a "look over my shoulder" type of teaching so I eventually cancelled the course. He was very good and did what he could to help. In fact, I still have the tools he provided and the practice plates with my scratching on them and his comments. I wonder if he is still around; I would like to hear from him.
